I've got a 2x24W T5HO, which runs for about 7hrs and a single t8 18W for about 3hrs in the middle which bumps it up to a little over 3wpg. Any more and BGA seems to try to set in.

maybe you could use different sized pots like people do with rocks, have a couple of big standout rocks with "rubble" rocks all around them. Just a thought.

Thanks duffy, yeah they occasionally pearl after a water change and a bit of excel with the CO2, they're very happy. I'll try get a pic sometime. Id recommend it even just DIY, of course pressurised...

The problem with the solenoids is that we run on 240 volt instead of 120. But as for the other advice, thanks.
