I'm guessing you are running it at 0 kh? Maybe bump that up to 1-2 shouldnt harm the shrimp but might level out the ph swings a bit?

rcs are much hardier than crs...as I said molting issues not necessarily all dying but less chance of survival.

SS = Salty Shrimp...they have a gh+ which affects only gh and they have a gh/kh+...

I would have to agree with Jaime. My biggest rcs lived in my canister filter for about 2 months before I found her. She was huge!!! AND SO BRIGHT!
