What about something else

Panda Garra's are not Plecos but a great algae eaters that doesn't eat plants. I also keep them in my shrimp tank.

BN plecos, oh and rubber lip. Are the only ones I keep in my planted tanks. Don't bother my plants at all. And there all under 5 inches.

I have them, and first and foremost they need warm water 79 and up preferred. Mine love carrots zucchini. Had them for about 2 years now and I love them. They are in a 12.5g tank with panda Garras...

I got some to in the past, in the same way. And could never keep them. I believe they need cooler water temperature and high water flow. Wish I could keep them, but never could. Very cool fish...

Cheap dinners

Casseroles are a good cheap and easy meal. Burritos and tacos are also cheap and easy. Hotdogs/pigs in a blanket.
