I have a 50 gallon with a 2217 and a koralia 350 power head perfect circulation. What size is your power head?

That puts me at about 10X gph tank volume.

Intake is in back left corner...

This plant needs very little light, I grow it to the top of my 50 gallon which is 22 inches tall and then I put it in a big container in my driveway until I sell it all....

You would want something with a good flow rate if your going to run a reactor, I have a fx5 on my 75 for this reason, also run an inline heater all the kinks and bends slow things down a good amount....

I would say if you have a 72 gallon your turnover should be around 720gph. Looks like you have somewhere in the 1900 gph range, I would think that is a bit overkill, you also don't have many plants...
