You could buy something used in the SnS forums. Or you could get a sunsun 302 off Ebay for ~$50, it doesn't come with filter media, just a few thin pieces of filter floss. Flow might be too strong...

Hmmm, I never thought/noticed it, but I guess it could be an issue. I usually feed little but try to feed often and it's much easier to maintain water quality for a breed net in a large tank.
