The OP has an RO/DI unit...the RO filter would have a 98% rejection rate before hitting the DI resin, which should then drop the water to a TDS of 0.
I'm guessing your GH test kit is guilty of...

So the hygrophila corymbosa predictably dropped the lower leaves, but seems to be doing well....I've even seen new growth at the tops. I also found a couple bonus stems of asian ambulia in the batch...

In a 10 gallon tank...even with doubling the recommended amount and dosing daily, you would be dosing 2ml per day. That 500ml bottle would last well over a month or two...closer to 7 or 8...
