water parameters, I think it's also okay but not an expert on apistos...not...

pipe is naturally black, so all the white stuff...

pipe is naturally black, so all the white stuff on it is the sticky substance...quite clear that it only forms on rubber part, not on hard plastic.

White sticky coating on outflow/inflow pipes

Been dealing with this for some time...it's a pain to scrub off my rubber connects on the hoses for both my outflow/inflow.

any idea what causes this? and any easier way of getting rid of it?

i just got the 48" dual evo light setup, feeling like the overall look of the tank just aint as bright as it should be, with pockets of shadows here and there, etc.

i'm thinking the flow can be greatly improved....

i'm thinking the flow can be greatly improved. part of the problems is a massive piece of driftwood that occupies a lot of space...i think it blocks a lot of flow.

i'm using pressurized...

tank mostly seemed fine...did a big water change (75% on a 70G), replanted some things while the water was low...and afterwards my tank looks like this...with lots of crap all over may plants and...
