Sorry I'm not sure. The tubing is 1/2 inch for the canister which is 12.7mm. I think 9mm would work as the end of the lily pipe is inserted into the tube. Can anyone else clarify on this? Thanks...

I love mine. The only down side is that water evaporates out of the tank a lot faster with the open top. But the open top is a great look. I'm very happy with the canister filter.

I used black sewing thread to tie my x-mas moss down to driftwood. It worked great and didn't show through or come undone.

As far as keeping it clean i had such a continuing challenge with mine...
