Love the tank! Like you said before Green Neons would be a great addition. You wont't regret it. Mine school tightly and imo are better looking than regular neons. Keep posting pictures!

There are not that many schooling species in Africa but you could try African Glass catfish which stay rather small but are shy, Jae Barbs, Barbus hulstaerti, Barbus candens, or African Moon Tetras....

I don't know which scape I like better, but they are both amazing looking! Where did you get the wood? If I were you I would add some fish like green neons for contrast. Keep up the good work.
