I've had this algae for quite some time now and mostly just pulling clumps out with gravel every week. It only grows on my anubias roots,gravel and java moss.

I picked up some willow hygro a few weeks ago and still waiting for it to adjust being under water. I agree the sword would look better at the end of the tank.

The reflectors are pretty good on the fixture since the fixture is aluminum. I'm guessing since their so close together the overlap from bulbs happen pretty quick that he could get away with the 19w.
