I have an eheim 2213 and a DIY CO2 - same size tank as yours. I stuff the CO2 tube right into the intake of the 2213. I get a pH of 6.6-6.8 for my kH of 3. [/quote]

I only dose less than 1/5 of the recommed Flourish dose daily. I use a dropper to dose 10-12 drops in the morning. The drops are 17 to 1 mL. For my tank, SeaChem recommends 5 mL / week....

The seaChem test kit seems accurate. I test immediately after I dose, and get what I expect based on the dose.

Yeah, I used Alum to precipitate phosphates to ZERO. That stopped the staghorn growth. I dosed 5 ppm of Alum. But the growth of plants was also arrested for a while.
