Someone else said staghorn on my local site. I dosed today with h202, got lots of bubbly on the driftwood but not so much on the algae and the algae didn't turn white.

This stuff has been around for several weeks now. My ammonia when tested today was at .25 for some reason. Might be feeding too much. Nitrites were 0 but the nitrates were nuts, like 80 ppm.

On a 75G tank with about 2 inches of substrate is 2.5 BPS good? I have a drop checker that is in the green, but I don't know that I fully trust that.

I just read a site that suggested dosing directly on the area, let it sit for 30 minutes, then do a 25-30% water change. What do you say about that?

When I take the stuff out it's closer to black than green I think. The stuff doesn't like to let go of whatever it is on. I have some on the substrate as well.
