Here's an update:

I ended up clearing out all the cholla as the population got too big.. I had close to 100 velvets in there! They're constantly breeding!! I also have 5 red tigers in there now...

I've had Rilli shrimp breed in a ziplock quart bag that I had sitting for about 2 weeks also....

I don't need them but I just found out they make t5 led bulbs! Full spectrum for flora.

Wonder if they are brighter than t5? Would be a nice upgrade for the t5 fixture guys that don't want to let...

I had this problem before and all my DHG would sit above the substrate. I switched substrates and it solved the issue.
