How long has the tank been running? If the Ammonia and Nitrite, ate levels have had a peek and then receded to the present levels, you should be done cycling.

Yeah, I am bad at waiting...... so I have boiled the wood until I know its clean, once its cool, weigh it down with rocks you can remove or rescape in few weeks once the wood is soaked.

Thanks guys, at his point I do not want to risk recontaminating my filter pump. I may just try and hand wash a few of them and hope for the best. Thanks again for the input.

Thanks guys, No other changes I can think of at all. No ferts or temp swings etc. I am going to try the air stone at night. I 'll let you know if that helps balance the ph... fingers crossed.
