I plan on running my 29 on just a maxi-jet 600 soon. 160gph is about what my semi-clogged Aquaclear is putting out at the moment, and it's more than enough flow.

Sorry I wasn't specific. You want 10-20ppm NO3 to help combat BGA, since it thrives when algae is starved as it fixes its own nitrogen from atmospheric N2.

Very nice, clean and minimalistic. Ive always been a fan of utilizing easier species in both planted and reef setups, they're just as beautiful (and seeing them grow and flourish is quite a plus).
