Keep your paintball tanks and just get a normal regulator with an adapter, you now can go with paintball or cylinder! Plus, you can put it on a timer.

You can try Blue Magic or Brasso. It works a lot better on chrome, I don't think stainless steel can be as shinny as chrome even after you polish it though.
