i thought that might be the case and was wondering what i could do is there something i can coat them in that would'nt affect the... i guess stength of them? but would keep them from rusting?

I read in a couple places that its safe to use magnets in a tank and in some places people saying its not safe i also read in one place where its stated that its a good idea cause the magnet attracts...
