i had 12 ghost shrrimps, and a bunch of cherries before i bought them... now theres only 2 ghost shrimps alive.

theres some media that you put in the filter that will lower your phosphate. But in a long term, its better to know where your phosphate comes from

yes drakken, the day gecko looks nice. beautiful patterns of green, and theres a lot of species to choose. And they are active in the day, wich is verry interesting.

i didnt tried it, but turtles are big animals for a tank, and i think they are messy. they would aquasape your planted with their own manners, ... especially the delicate ones like stem plants....
