The 6300K is a great light, I can't speak to the 10K. BML makes amazing lights and are worth every penny. Here is an update on my 40 tall with a 30" 6300k.

Update on growth

Started dry dosing ferts on an EI regiment. Already seeing visible improvement.
I have some diatoms growing and I think I will be adding a couple of ottos soon.

My rocks showed up today!!!!

My hard ground is here!!! I ordered 5lbs. from ebay without seeing what they look like. I am really pleased and lucky. they range from 8 to 3in tall. Perfect for a nano type aquarium!!
