It's not the scratch as much as it is the OCD (lol). The tank has only been up a few weeks - it's just a kick in the **** to have it scratched (even if I have to strain to see it). I am the only...

/\ /\ Thank you - that's the plan. I am first going to get a scrap of glass, scratch it, and see how the cerium oxide works. In all the research I have done, the cerium keeps coming up as "the"...

Fixing a Scratch?

I have a very thin scratch on the front glass. The only way you can see it is if you take the versa top off and look at the perfect angle. (The versa top blocks enough of the light - bright light...

I turned it back to 240W and the temp has stabilized at 79. The plants seem to be doing fine under less light - still balancing the Co2 and ferts w/ the lower WPG.

IMO - I don't agree. 192W of 6,700k over my 50 gallon - no yellow / tan, just bright and very colorful (the pics by no means do it justice). Remember, lights are part of it, but the proper balance...

2 x 6,700 would be my recommendation - I used them on my 45. I also use 6,700s on my 150 (3 x 80w). I find that the 10's seem to contribute to algae growth, especially on the anubias leaves. Not...

I have a 150 gallon w/ three Eheim 2217s. Although the water seems to be pretty clear, there are particles floating in the tank - not much water movement in certain spots. I can really tell by how...

Haven't moved but did stand my 150 on end for a few weeks while I was building the stand / canopy. No problems. Imagine they are "tossed around" pretty good during production, shipping, etc.

/\ /\ Good idea - I could raise them up a couple of inches. They are about 7 or 8 inches off the water now. I think I will lower the lights to 240 for a couple of days and see how the tank responds.
