My stems are growing pretty well in my 40 gallon, but I want more plant varieties in it, and I would really love to try to get a carpet going.

It's eco complete, with 2 54 watt T5HO 6500k bulbs,...

Trying Shrimp again.

Despite having great tap water here in GR (tap water is 178TDS), I think the old copper pipes in my house might be the suspects. Either that and/or the combination of my tank not being truely cycled...

I am planning on doing an overhaul on my 10 gallon once the fish stock for the 40 gallon passes thru. I want to clean it all up, clean up the algae that has arisen, and also jump into R.O. water with...

It's from a hydroponics shop, he said they usually end up losing money on the refills, but its a great place for CO2 stuff. Lots of very thick CO2 tubing at a great price, good water pumps and hosing...

It's not too terribly large. It was $150.00 deposit for the tank (it's aluminum), and it's 6.99 for a refill. I can't complain about that deal. I was originally using those disposables, it's already...

20lb CO2 tank, how long will it last

I got pressurized CO2 in August, and I have a 20 pound tank running at 3-4bps. The tank pressure hasn't budged, and I'm curious to know, how do you determine how long a certain sized tank will last?...

I use a greenhouse type regulator, I'll be honest lol. I was on a budget, so I use a Blueprint CO2 regulator. Only one gauge, tank pressure essentially. It's not exactly ideal, but it has performed...

I found that my hair algae came through ammonia spikes. And in my 10 gallon which I use as a quarantine, if a fish dies, and it takes a day to find it, I get hair algae. Same with my pond, at the...
