No way near as i bad as you explained. Do some water changes, monitor your nitrates/tds. Keep dosing ferts and co2 and leave lights

Soak in hot water if the piece is too big to boil, rinse and repeat when the water gets cold. Done. If you still have tannins, use purigen in your filter.

Keep your dosing regime the same and drop the light back to 5hrs and slowly work your way up to 8hr over weeks and monitor algae growth.

Photosynthesis period is different to all tanks as there are alot of different variables between setups. If the tank is new, i suggest starting at 5-6hrs and gradually adding more hours as week goes...

Could have been over looked, i had the same issue. I have snails popping up now where as 3 months ago i didnt have any. Could have been in your filter etc

Marimo is slow growing, you can boost it by feeding it co2 but you won't see significant difference.

Bubbles on the marimo is good thing, as you know it is soaking up the co2.
