you could go rimless on a nano as there is less stress on the glass joints. I used dirt for my nano capped with 2mm gravel.

I'd go for an aponogeton maybe a crispus as a feature plants, Maybe add some flame moss to the DW and why not go for a full hairgrass carpet?

I use John innes no3 for the substrate, along with grated clay and ash, this helps C02.
Its capped with 2mm gravel.

whites tree frogs
red eyed tree frogs
chubby frogs
pacman frogs
and the list goes on haha

hi all just a post to welcome my new bearded dragon to the clan once he has outgrown his 2ft viv he will be going into an arid planted 4ft vivarium

any one else ever done any arid planted...
