If your measuring by BPS or using a controller do you really need dual gauges? There are a handful of aquarium specific valves in that range with a single gauge.

teaching your fish to be less shy

My fish get excited when I open the bottom door. It makes a noise that they hear/feel and they know food is coming. Just noticed that recently. My fish also swim out when I approach now.

It's good. Easier to maintain than the HC I had in this tank. I have moved it around one or twice to - each time tossed a small amount out. However, it's not a fast grower and that's a good thing...

Be nice and look helpless at HD. Also go when it's slow and let them know you need a really specific cut. ;) those guys are usually cool about it when it's slow.
