I kept 2 in a 6gal fluvial edge with 5 CPDs and they did fine. They ignored the other fish...the most aggression I saw between them was "dancing" with each other for territory.

Is it the coralife fixture? Not doubting your success... but the reflectors on that fixture are pretty poor. My crypts were healthy with that light... but I saw almost no growth before swapping...

The OP has an RO/DI unit...the RO filter would have a 98% rejection rate before hitting the DI resin, which should then drop the water to a TDS of 0.

In a 10 gallon tank...even with doubling the recommended amount and dosing daily, you would be dosing 2ml per day. That 500ml bottle would last well over a month or two...closer to 7 or 8...
