I guess it would be considered a medium light for the size. Supposed to be 15w equivalent 65 lumens. 8800k spectrum. (looks like the highest I can find now on the website is 6100k in this style)

I have my light on 10 hours a day.

The other tanks in the house grow algae on the glass, etc and the snails and shrimps have a good time with that.

My 5g hexagon, hasn't a spot of algae...

Its not difficult to shake the bottle. Why would smacking the bottle change anything to do with the liquid inside?

So, I got a little pagoda hut thingy from Petco. I really enjoyed the look and it just screams "put me in with a betta".

The holes for the tunnels, inside were quite sharp. I sanded lightly on...

We use a small strip of that style of LEDs glued to the inside lid of a 2 gallon cylinder tank. Grows plants and keeps the snails happy. Its a quarantine tank though.

You can get those strips...
