My preferred methods as well.

I took one of the kids' old toothbrushes and bend the neck a bit so it's easier to get into corners.

My planted tanks are the only ones that will support nerites...

Sorry, even if the filters shut down and every one of those fish dies from asphyxiation, the tank doesn't turn milky-white in that short of a time span. Especially a 3 year old tank.

I know lots of folks add the dechlorinator of choice directly to the tank as it's being re-filled with chlorinated tap water and it works well for them.

I tend to boil things down to simplistics...

In the end, Priority has simply become 2 to 3 day service. If it's not coming from the next state, you can bank on three days.

My last two PM orders came from a distance and both took 3 days. If...

OK, I gotta ask why as well?

As I mentioned, there've been a ton of documented issues with folks having adverse reactions to things in SW tanks like Zoanthids, lionfish, coral catfish, Foxface,...

Words of wisdom.

While it may not seem like a necessary expense, "tools" that make things like water changes easier and more convenient are one of the best investments you can make. There are lots...

Google Eurobracing.

Even if the corners are glued together, the stress point is still the water pressure bowing out the middle of the tank. Newer 125G's have one-piece trim with two cross braces...
