How should I use metronidazole to treat Hexamita (hole in head)?

Can it be added directly into the water? If so, does it harm live plants?

Or do I need to soak food in it and have the fish eat it directly?

Any advice would be appreciated... thanks!

Where did my tank get callamanus worms from?

What species of fish are most likely to have these?

Are there some species that I should stay away from to prevent getting these again?
