The sun glo bulb is not as well suited for plants as the aqua glo. The aqua glo is strong in red and blue light which plants like the sun glow is a very yellow bulb.

the razor blade works well just use no more than the least force you need because you can scratch even a glass tank with a razor. Dont try a razor on a plexiglass tank!
