They're typically not a problem. Once your tank has inhabitants, the worms will disappear. If they're far too numerous then simply siphon them out of the tank during a water change. I wouldn't drop...

Yea some algae develop from a lack of certain elements/minerals. Others develop due to an excess (which is generally accurate).

I didn't add this before but blackout periods do help abate green...

Well I didn't mean that Amano shrimp were literally too big in my 5G lol.

It's good to finally know the type of algae that's infesting my tank - didn't quite look like hair algae in google searches. "Green thread algae" - that's definitely it. It attacks my mosses and...

Yeah, thats the problem I run into. Setups look great but by 6 months in, plants aren't growing as well. Most often, I lose leaves on stem plants at the bottom and with my deeper tank, it makes for a...

Excellent work with that tank! I would add a very large school of otos, a large school of cardinal tetras and one of rummy nose tetras. Cap it off with one or two large, docile fish. Tank is awesome!

I'm not sure if I'm adding anything to what's already been mentioned but regardless of low or high tech, CO2 helps. Unlike light, CO2 doesn't drive/push other requirements. That said, low light can...
