Spray bar issues

My background plants are being blasted by the current from the spray bar causing them to lean. Should I change to outlet fitting, reposition the spray bar or put up with the lean?!

Any suggestions on the best place to put the co2 reactor. The JBL website suggests it shouldn't matter because it creates its own current but this doesn't sound right to me!!
