Nothing beats the the eheim classic style of filters in the "external closed filter" category imho. Upgrade with some nicer looking tubing and glassware/steelware and youīve got an awesome setup....

Not sure the demand for high end aquarium cabinets is high enough here in Sweden to add any sort of value :help:

Yes been looking at those stainless skimmers, but decided to build my own as it doubles as a power head. I dont think those smaller skimmers adds very much flow. How powerful is your eheim?

Iīm guessing that the angle of the reflectors/holes were limited to the drillbit used? Maybe you could mount a plastic lens over each led.

Got the same idea a week ago and it has been working great. I took some thin stainless wire and bent hooks at the ends that goes on the tank edges and thus separating a corner of the tank surface.
