Daphnia question.

My water has turned green, I read that one solutin would be placing daphnia in a breeder net, they eat the algae. I would like to know if anyone knows where and how to get them, or culture them?

What kind of shrimp is more suitable for bettas, guppies, molly, cardinals? Shrimps that wont become snacks and are good tank cleaners.

Red face Filter placement.

Where would the best area be to put an aquaclear 300 filter in a 55g planted aquarium, is it best to locate it in the back glass to either left or right side or center of the tank?
