So just an update, I added fluorite black sand...

So just an update, I added fluorite black sand about a week ago and so far there is no algae at all :eek5: I can't say why that'd be other than maybe the huge water change got rid of the excess...

Actually I think those ebay LED flood lights would be the most cost effective. Idk what light levels you're looking for but either 3- 10 watts or 2- 20 watts ought to be enough for low-med levels...
