Yes, you could definitely do a pair in a 20G long. As for schooling fish, you could try a group of 8-10 Neons. Just make sure to use a lot of plants and break the line of sight up for the GBR's....

How often should I change the bulbs (2 x 6700k) in my T5NO fixture? I've read very conflicting information on these sites (anywhere from every 6mo to 18mo). My lighting period is 10 hours daily....
