Yes or no?

My poor little betta died after a good 3 years since I rescued him.
Now his tank is empty again and I pulled everything and rescaped it.
I wanted to use a bunch of slate I had left over to create a...

Thanks.

The betta really uses every inch of space in this tank.
He's so fun to watch in there, and out of all my tanks, I think I actually watch him the most.

I derimmed the tank.
You can still notice a bit of silicone that was too stubborn to come off.

Here's a bit of an update on it though.
I did scratch the glass somehow and I've been leaning...

If it's a 2x65 then I'm assuming it's a 24" fixture, and must be the standard 16 tall tank, amirite?
Also the 65 watt bulbs are 21" long, so you could just use your single 10k bulb, or get a 67k...

If you're doing a nano reef and want to use your lily pipes, you could just hook them up to an external pump and use them as a great looking powerhead.
Otherwise, in something that small, most...

TeaQue, bubble rate is a fairly lofty measurement at best.
It's not like you're measuring ml/second or oz/second or any other standardized rate.

How big is your bubble in the bubble counter?
How...

That certainly is a lot of light. This amount of light is working right now, so I don't want a ridiculous amount more, but a little would be fine.
I'm looking at the fishneedit fixture, so it's a...

That new photo looks 300% better.
That's a nice little scape you have going on there now!

As far as the snails, I've found they're really only abundant when I overfeed or if I have an algae...

I'm with you Houseofcards.
I went paintball system because I wanted it quite compact so I could hide it behind the tank. Also why I went with a 16 oz cylinder instead of 24 oz.
This regulator would...

Well, I finally got mine in the mail this morning right before I left out of town for work for two days.

Your PH is similar to mine.
Our water is pretty much liquid rock and usually sits around 8.0 or so I have found.
The one thing I have learned about PH is to not mess with it.

Help make this tank awesome!

Let's have some community fun!

Okay, so I have this tank.
It's a 33 gallon (36"x12"by18").
It has one fish in it.

Currently I have a gross "plant" light over it. 24" 20 watt T12.

What colour temperature do you prefer?

I'm about to order my new fixtures.
I can go with either 2 6700k bulbs, 1 6700k and 1 10,000k, or both 10,000k.

I am leaning heavily towards 1 of each.

What do you guys prefer for colour?

Some people say it's noisy garbage that leaks and doesn't filter well.

It has been used...

I have always wanted to do a Lake Malawi setup.
You could do that and keep a tank as true to it's inhabitants environment as possible.
Or pick whatever interests you I suppose.
