I'm going to say from experience that the badis tend to disappear especially when there are other fish in the tank. When I had CPDs in my tank with a badis I never saw him!

The one in picture 2 is in fact a sub dominant male. They probably aren't juvies unless they are under 3/4 of an inch. Also, I suspect the other pictures show males as well but I'm not 100% sure....

So yesterday I did a water change of 50% of my cycled tank. This tank has been up and running (with the white clouds) for at least 5 months and with the ottos and a scarlet badis for over 7 months....

I recommend dario dario as well. I feed mine frozen blood worms and I also have an extensive worm culture in my tank. Some long white worm that they LOVE to snack on.

1.) 13 watts is not sufficient if you would like foreground plants or any plants with color in them. I'd look to be in the 20 watt area for your lighting especially if you plan to use CO2 and ferts....
