The right side has a flow to it but the left feels like the wood simply got laid down and feels unnatural. You can try using the left rear piece to help soften or add interest to the front piece.

Thanks, BB. I was trying to keep this tank a very low maintenance and low cost. I didn't want to have to do a trimming every couple of weeks.

Thanks. The mostly light brown stones are Ohko stones that AFA (in SF) sells as part of the ADA hardscapes. The black stones are strangely enough called Black River Stone. :icon_wink
