Both eat the diatom algae with gusto, but the otos prefer more oto company. So its either a bunch of otos vs 1 pleco :)

Mm, I meant if its 1 ft away from the turtle, it should be a few inches closer.. depending if you have a top too. etk said it, if you have a cover- the rays are greatly reduced.

Older vid but Ive got 4 giant danios and 3 mustache danios and they stay together nicely. Not tight but the movement is pretty fluid and cohesive.

One thing is keep in mind is that they work by abrasion..you are literally scratching something away microscopically? so you might damage other things you use it on.

I bought a feeding ring (same idea as airline)...

I bought a feeding ring (same idea as airline) and actually put it under the HOB flow. floaters get the rest of the tank, without the water pushing em in.
