Wish I had a way to test the bulb on another...

Wish I had a way to test the bulb on another ballast but the only other one I have is 96W. I had to take apart the casing to put the ballast in my setup so now I worry I may have damaged something...

It was maybe 1.5-2 inches total but very big relative to anything else in the tank. The tank has only been up for two weeks so I am shocked how quickly this thing must have grown.
