Thanks for the information I have purchased the second dry ferts kit but may not use the magnesium as I have quite hard water as it is.

The top is made out of corrugated cardboard so I wouldnt trust it to hold a tank but good luck with it

If only you could have a buffer "tank" which has a regulating valve on the outlet so that it smooths out the fluctuations in pressure, you could keep swapping out the soda bottles which supply it and...

Ran the tank last night with the new lighting unit and hit a problem straight away..... The unit produces alot of heat and the hood does let alot out so this is the mod I have done to combat the unit...

I tried it and your correct if you get the right mixture of yeast etc the bottle doesn't stand a chance. Although a 2 litre pop bottle will hold at least 50psi
