My Angelfish tank is at 74-78F, all are growing, active, greedy little water-pigs. BNs just had another batch of fry. Tank is usually colder in the winter.

Just plant them with good fert soil, some liquid fert, good light, CO2 and then just sit back and wait. Vals and dwarf sag should spread like wild fire soon enough.

But it is just particle board, saw dust, wood chips and glue. It's not meant to last nor hold much up.

I keep most of the same plants from my tropical tank as I do in the Discus tank. Temp in tropical tank is 74-76F. Temp in Discus tank is 83-85F. No issues with plants melting, all are growing well....

I only use hands if there is almost no water, otherwise, they easily slip away and you don't want to use your grabbing reflex on a fish! x0
