Interesting thread. I do regret selling my 44 corner tank. Had too many tanks and at the time was just the "odd man out". Now several years later I could use it now. Sigh.

Are you raising the water level? If not how did you get your AC20 intake low enough to siphon water? I've always had to have the water be at least 3/4ths full for it to filter or any AC for that...

I'm a big fan of the xp4. I've owned/own fx5, all kinds of fluvals, eheims and sun Suns. Suns Suns are horrible. I'm sorry at least mine was. Cheesy, cumbersome, and at one point electrified my tank....
