I use the coralife bulb in mine and my plants...
I use the coralife bulb in mine and my plants love it. I also replaced the filter but am using a Red Sea Nano filter. It's still very small but works SO much better than the stock filter. My Picotope...

You might seriously try increasing the photo period as I mentioned before. It worked very quickly for me. It causes the bloom to increase thereby using up the excess nutrients more quickly. Mine...

I can't believe that just happened!
I had a .9g cubus sitting on my desk. I just walked into the room to find our ferret had pulled the plants and driftwood out! He was actually in the process of trying to make off with the driftwood....

Florida biotope
I'm thinking of starting a Florida biotope. My tank is a 10g with an Aquaclear 20 and two 14 watt CFLs. I'd appreciate suggestions on suitable fish and low light plant native to Florida.
