I've always wanted to do a sewer drain theme complete with cinder blocks, drain tile, various other litter, a beer bottle or two... This would be planted of course.

In such a short tank, wattage won't matter. The light has no problem penetrating that depth. That is one reason I love building nanos, they require the least complicated...

I like the rocks, but the front rock is showing a flat side. you could probably bury that side and some of the other stones to be emerging from the substrate underneath the sticks.

somewhat... I think it would be more interesting. And maybe find some rocks that all look the same or similar to build a foundation for the branches that transitions into the right third of the tank....
