The lily had really gone off... never more than two flowers at a time though.

What happened... hmm...
Well... winter hit... life got crazy.

A lot of the plants died from winter but I expected that.

The mini lily I got has started throwing out leaves again after winter...

It's really great to look at and so peaceful.

I know some people in your area with goldfish. Give them a try. The key is a shaded pond lol.

For the record the water lily is called Dauben, a small blue tropical lily particularly suited for shady ponds.

agreed... no matter how fertile my substrate or my water my stems grow roots.
I also have a few rooted as marginals in extremely fertile pond soil and they continue to send out roots up the length...
