The only problem with jungle val is that it gets much taller than 29". Val spiralis will grow to 24" or a little better, which should fit the bill. I find they grow better if there is a little soil...

That is a very good point Buck. Methlylene chloride is the active ingredient in most paint strippers, and I believe it is also what you use to dissolve Silicone. I had forgotten about that.
