The tank has been taken over by elodea and endler's! Over the past few months the elodea grew out over the top of the aquarium and darkened everything beneath causing algae to grow...

It's good, however, after a few days some of the pieces turned white and the rest are more gray than black. It still looks ok, and holds down plants very well.

I put it in a glass of water, it wasnt filled up. but yes its pretty bouyant. I shouldn't need it to be too deep to test the Co2 though? I can always add another suction cup if needed.
