Roots might be your problem. The roots could be as wide and long as the plant is tall. Depending on your substrate it could be a major undertaking to move it.

The Sword's root cluster runs about 4 inches deep and I'm guessing 8 inches wide. As I have a dirt'd tank. I couldn't just pull it out. I had to cut it out, leaving much of the root cluster behind....

I kind of want to see more driftwood and few plants. Maybe some floating plants. It a small space which can make if difficult to work with, but then again it might be a lot easier to pull everything...
