If I was going to plant it more heavily or with more demanding plants I probably would've gone that route. As it is it'll probably just be anubias, java fern and maybe an amazon sword or two in the...

Got an offer from someone local to buy their used 40L to use for a sump instead of the 29. Which is great as it gives me not only more volume, but more flexibility in chamber/layout etc...

Sorry for the late reply, but as far as I know finnex lights aren't apex compatible. Not saying you couldn't mod a 24/7 to be run by one, but I don't know. Buildmyled strips are apex controllable...

125 Jake scape

As I'm getting closer to starting this build I decided to setup a build thread. Maybe that'll keep me motivated to follow through with all my plans.

I got a used 125 locally for a good price. ...

They originate from tidal zones so it's pretty typical for them to climb out of the water once an awhile. I haven't had much trouble in my freshwater systems, but I've lost a couple from my reef...

So I just picked up a used 125 that I'm going to setup for a harem of peacocks(probably otter point jakes). My plan at this point is to setup my old 55 as a sump.

I'm looking for some suggestions...
